Sift into a mixing bowl:
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
Add:
1/4 cup melted butter
2 cups chopped apples
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Mix together and bake in greased 8x8" square pan at 375˚ for 45 minutes.
